My name is Florence, and I come from Gulu. For many years, I thought I was enjoying a happy marriage with a husband who would always be there for me and our children. However, things eventually took a different turn when he began spending most of his time away from home.

Before long, he abandoned the family, leaving me to shoulder nearly all the responsibilities on my own.Life became challenging as I struggled to raise the children, clear household bills and take care of daily family needs without his help.

I made several attempts to call him and convince him to return, but most of our conversations ended in disagreements. At times, he would promise to come back, but several days or even weeks would pass without him showing up.

What pained me most was seeing my children grow up without having their father around every day. Despite everything that had happened, I still loved my husband and wished we could reunite as a family, although I was gradually losing hope.
