Self-proclaimed TikTok spiritual healer and traditional healer known as Godfather has warned political commentator Frank Gashumba to be careful with his criticism of pastors, claiming that some religious leaders could retaliate against him.

In a video shared online, Godfather argued that not all pastors who claim to perform miracles in the name of Jesus are necessarily genuine. He alleged that some use witchcraft and other spiritual practices while convincing their followers that their powers come from God.

Godfather said he agreed with concerns that some religious leaders allegedly mislead their followers by using the name of Jesus to attract believers and convince them that they possess special spiritual powers.

He further claimed that attracting more than 1,000 followers was not easy and suggested that some religious leaders could be relying on witchcraft or what he described as demonic powers to build their influence. However, he did not provide evidence to support these allegations.

The spiritual healer specifically cautioned Gashumba against continuing his attacks on pastors without considering the possible consequences. He claimed that some of the religious leaders being criticised might view the outspoken commentator as a threat to their activities.

According to Godfather, pastors who feel threatened by Gashumba’s remarks could allegedly decide to target him, warning that such a situation might have serious consequences for the political commentator.

Gashumba is known for his outspoken views on public affairs and has attracted attention for his comments on different social and religious issues. Godfather’s warning adds another voice to the ongoing public debate about religious leaders, claims of miracles and the conduct of some pastors. However, Godfather’s statements remain allegations, and no evidence was presented in the video to establish that the pastors being discussed practise witchcraft or intend to harm Gashumba. The warning has nevertheless drawn attention to the tensions surrounding criticism of religious figures and the claims made by those who defend or challenge them.
