Local Government Minister Hon. Balaam Barugahara has ordered the arrest and interdiction of more than 21 civil servants in Pallisa District as part of his “Expose The Corrupt” campaign.

The officials, arrested on Thursday, October 1, 2026, include RDC Dikusoka Majidu, Deputy CAO Areu Simon Peter, Principal HR Charles, former CAO Felix Majeme, DHO Dr. Godfrey Mulekwa, DEO Ronald Omutujju and Senior HR Tadeyo Francis.

Others include Water Engineer Hannington Opendu, CFO Kirya Herbert, Inspector of Schools Opedun John, Principal Auditor Kirya Emmanuel, Senior Procurement Officer Apollo Opongoru, District Planner Robert Mukesi and DCDO George Onyait.
