Former Nakaseke South County Member of Parliament Paulson Kasana Semakula Luttamaguzi has said he will never again vote for National Unity Platform (NUP) president Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, popularly known as Bobi Wine.

Luttamaguzi, a Ugandan politician and economist, made the remarks while expressing his disappointment with the direction of the opposition movement and his experience working within the political space associated with Bobi Wine.

Paulson Kasana Semakula Luttamaguzi was born on December 25, 1979, in Nakaseke District. He served as the Member of Parliament representing Nakaseke South County from 2016 to 2026.

Before joining elective politics, Luttamaguzi built a background in economics and business studies. He graduated from Makerere University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree.

During his education journey, Luttamaguzi attended Kitebi Primary School, briefly studied at Jinja College and later continued his secondary education at Jinja Secondary School for O-Level before completing A-Level studies at Luweero Secondary School.

His political career saw him become one of the opposition figures who gained national attention through his activities in Parliament and his involvement in political debates.

Luttamaguzi was previously associated with the Democratic Party before later becoming part of the political wave around Bobi Wine’s People Power movement, which eventually transformed into the National Unity Platform.

However, in his latest remarks, Luttamaguzi expressed strong criticism, saying he no longer supports Bobi Wine politically.

“I will never vote for Bobi Wine again,” Luttamaguzi said, according to the statement attributed to him.
