I Was Already Rich Before I Met Amelia Kyambadde — Dr Hilderman Hits Back At Museveni’s Former Minister For Claiming That She Helped Him When He Was Too Broke

Mawokota North politician Hillary Kiyaga, popularly known as Dr Hilderman, has responded to claims by former Trade Minister Amelia Kyambadde that she supported him when he was struggling financially.

Hilderman said the story that he was extremely poor before meeting Kyambadde does not reflect the reality of his life, insisting that he had already built his own success before their relationship developed.

The former legislator said he appreciates anyone who has supported him at different stages of his journey but rejected what he described as an attempt to portray him as someone who had nothing before receiving assistance from Kyambadde.

Hilderman said his achievements came through his own efforts, talent and hard work long before he entered into political competition with Kyambadde.

His remarks came after Kyambadde publicly accused him of forgetting the people who helped him when he was struggling.

Kyambadde had said she played a role in uplifting Hilderman and urged leaders to always remember those who supported them during difficult times.
