As the CEO of Apex Media, a multimedia company that runs several prominent radio stations, including Block FM 103.2, Nup Radio 91.4, and Spark Media Uganda, Nyanzi has proven himself to be a visionary leader and entrepreneur.

Early life and entrepreneurial journey

Nyanzi’s journey into the world of media began at a young age. Born on December 5, 2009, in Kampala, Uganda, he started exploring business in 2023 after receiving initial funding of $2,500 from a mysterious UK-based investor to launch Block FM as an online radio station.

Despite his young age, Nyanzi has demonstrated remarkable entrepreneurial acumen, expanding his media empire to include partnerships with companies like Afromobile Media.

Nyanzi’s success has not gone unnoticed. He has received several awards and recognitions for his contributions to entrepreneurship, including: Young Entrepreneur of the Year (2022) and Media Entrepreneur of the Year (2023).

“The media industry is constantly evolving, and it’s essential to stay ahead of the curve,” Nyanzi says.

With plans to expand Block FM into more international markets and further digitise his media empire, Nyanzi is poised to continue making waves in the industry. His net worth, estimated at $120 million, is expected to grow significantly in the coming years.
