Namsale Technical School in Amolatar district has announced that 428 students have successfully passed the recently released UBTEB exams for November/December 2024.
The school’s head teacher Canon Ogwal Moses Owiny reported that all 428 students who sat for the exams last year excelled.
Canon Ogwal encouraged parents to consider enrolling their children—who have just received their results—into diploma programs, saying the government is still accepting students due to the delays in releasing last year’s UBTEB results.
“We don’t want any child to miss out on the opportunity to further their education,” he emphasized.
Looking ahead, the school is gearing up for the July/August UBTEB exams, with over 400 students preparing diligently for the upcoming tests scheduled from August 8 to 22, 2025.
Canon Ogwal expressed optimism regarding their performance, noting the school’s commitment to academic excellence.
He also took a moment to express gratitude to the government for its efforts in fostering a sense of patriotism among students. He remarked that this initiative has significantly enhanced discipline within the school environment, creating a more conducive atmosphere for learning.
“Our students are not only focused on their studies but are also embracing the values of responsibility and respect for their nation,” he added.
With holidays getting near, Canon Ogwal provided advice to students returning home. He urged them to stay off political activities and instead focus on supporting their families.
“This is a time for unity and helping our parents, who have worked hard to provide for us,” he stressed.
The school continues to face challenges of fee payments and the availability of food supplies. Canon Ogwal acknowledged these difficulties.
“We are working closely with parents and stakeholders to address these concerns as we strive to create the best possible educational environment for our students.”
