The Jane Acilo Foundation has kicked off its operation with two medical camps taking place in Loro and Oyam town councils, respectively.

Officially launched on Monday at Oyam Boma Ground, founder Jane Frances Acilo announced that the Foundation would focus on health, education and leadership.
Voted overwhelmingly on July 17 to hold the NRM party flag for Oyam district woman MP race in 2026, Jane Frances Acilo has earmarked health, education, wealth creation; women and youth economic empowerment as her main agenda.
With less than a month after securing the NRM endorsement for 2026, she has started to elevate the health conditions of the people of Oyam.
At the two medical camps ending on August 6, cervical cancer screening, HIV testing, antenatal, dental checks and extraction, and eye checks are offered free of charge.
Beatrice Akullu, the in-charge of Loro Health Centre III gave a general update on day one. “Over 400 clients turned up,” she said.
Evaline Angom from Anyalu village, Adyeda parish, Loro sub-county asked Jane not to stop with the medical camp.
Angom, speaking with too much excitement, said, “We pray for her to win the upcoming election.”
Evaline is one of the hundreds who turned up at Loro Health Centre III on Tuesday.
