Oyam | Jane Frances Acilo has opened twelve (12) community offices across sub-counties in the Oyam district to better serve its residents.

According to what tndNews understands, the offices will be used for coordination and to address issues that impact the district’s residents.

David Olwa, chairman of Jane Frances Acilo’s campaign team, told tndNews on Tuesday that they currently have 12 open offices.

“With the exception of Kamdini, Minakulu, Loro and Iceme sub-counties, we plan to open new offices in these four locations,” he added.

He added offices located at sub-counties will share with their respective town councils.

The Acilo campaign office has described the decision to open offices as “non-political,” stating that it was made to “effectively serve the people of Oyam” who have expressed a desire to communicate regularly with their leader.

Additionally, it was in response to a number of demands from the constituents.

Acilo is aspiring to represent the women of Oyam district in the 12th Parliament on NRM party ticket.

Last week, she picked nomination forms from the party secretariat in Kampala ahead of the primary elections for the flag.
