Christians and well-wishers of Aber Archdeaconry in Aber sub-county have generously funded the construction of the Archdeacon’s residence.
The residence is at St. John Church of Uganda in Otekobilo village, Akaka parish.
While the construction is nearly complete, millions of shillings are still required.
The interior walls have been plastered.
The exterior walls are currently being plastered, tndNews understands. “The urgent work remaining is the plastering of the floors inside and the verandah,” reads part of the appeal statement.

Sand and bricks are available on-site, but bags of cement for completion of the work are lacking.
“We kindly appeal to members, friends, and well-wishers to donate bags of cement so that the contractor can finish the work on time.”
St. John Church of Uganda, Akaka, was established many decades ago. Its Sunday services are in Leb Lango and English.
