Lira | Muslims are celebrating Eid al-Adha, which begins with prayers for the year 1445 of the Muslim calendar.
This is the second and final celebration they (Muslims) will have in 2024.
As they celebrate, Lira City woman MP, Dr Jane Ruth Aceng Ocero, has conveyed her message to the Muslim brothers and sisters, particularly those in Lira City.
“As we gather to celebrate this special occasion, I extend my warmest wishes to all of you, and especially to our Muslim community. May this Eid bring you joy, peace, and abundant blessings.
“Let us embrace the spirit of unity, love, and compassion during this festive time, strengthening the bonds within our community.
“Happy Eid to everyone!”
