Benson Ogwang, the LC 3 chairperson of Olilim town council confirmed to tndNews that the deceased had in the past weeks caused a standstill in routine activities among the community members.
“My people were no longer going to their gardens while children were also kept home. They feared for their lives and property knowing that a person wanted by Police was at large, moving among the community with harmful equipment… a gun for that matter.
Ogwang has therefore appealed to community members to continue working together with local leaders and Police to ensure that criminals at large are brought to book.
The LC3 boss also appealed to the community to send their children to school since the term is short with a lot to be covered.
On the other hand, he also called upon farmers in the area to get back into farming and ensure they utilise the current rains.
