Uganda’s Archbishop, a renowned Arsenal fan has sent a message to the youngster, Bukayo Saka following his sensational form.
Arsenal is one of the world’s most followed and adored football clubs. The Gunners are adored by people from all walks of life.
Currently on top of the 2022/2023 Premier League season with 47 points and eight points out of reach by second-placed Manchester City, Arsenal players, the youngest in the league, have received praise from her global fans and supporters.
One such fan is the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, Rt. Rev. Stephen Kazimba Mugalu. The
Sports-wise, he is popular in Uganda for comforting Manchester United fans at a time their club, The Red Devils was doing badly on the pitch. He would pray for them.
And since the Archbishop made his feelings towards the losses Manchester United was encountering clear and public, the Red Devils have found fortunes. They are currently among top five teams in the league with second half of the season underway.
Literally, his prayers have helped them.
In one of his prayers, a clip of which went viral, the Man of God said, “…. may God comfort you, especially Man U fans…”

Now, writing recently on his Twitter handle, he wrote: “I always refer Bukayo Saka whenever I am talking about strategic positioning. @BukayoSaka87 knows how to position himself well during the game and values teamwork.
I learn the following from him;
- Strategic positioning
- Teamwork
I think he is equally prayerful.”
