Lira – 1, December 2021: On December 6, Lira City Council Football Club (LCC FC) will start its first competitive game at Ambalal Primary school playground, Lira City West.
The Uganda Cup will feature 17 clubs in 3rd Division, 3 in 4th division and 12 clubs in 5th division. A set of fixtures released on Wednesday by Alal Eron, the General Secretary of Northern Region Football Association, semi-finals will be played on December 23.
Ogwang Abel, the Deputy Public Relations Officer of LCC FC said, “The boys are ready for the big task ahead of them, preparations are going on a high gear.”
He added: “Okello Ronald aka Alar who got collar joints dislocation during the game against Gulu City Council FC is still ruled out for a few weeks.”

Lira City Council Football Club was launched officially on 20, November and the LeeAger stars later in the day had a friendly match with Gulu City Council Football Club (GCC FC) at Akii Bua stadium in Lira City.
