Museveni’s Ministers who lost their MP seats

Kampala – 19, January 2021: The January 14 presidential and parliamentary elections caused surprises after dozens of senior ministers were voted out.

Their leader, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni got his sixth term as president even when opposition main challenger Bobi Wine says he’s going to Court to contest the results.

They (ministers) have been replaced as MPs by somehow young legislators, and many of them belonging to Bobi Wine’s NUP.

4 Ruth Nankabirwa( Govt Chief Whip)

7 Rosemary Sseninde (Education State Minister)
8 Chrysostom Muyingo (Minister of State for Higher Education)
9 Haruna Kasolo (Microfinance)
10 Christopher Kibanzanga (Agriculture)
11 Elioda Tumwesigye (Science and Technology)
12 Beatrice Anywar (Environment)
13 Amelia Kyambadde (Trade and Cooperatives)
14 Nakiwala Kiyingi (Youth and Children Affairs)
15 Beti O. Kamya (Lands)
16 Judith Nabakooba (ICT)
17 Kasirivu Atwooki (Vice Presidents office)
18 Isaac Musumba (Urban Planning)
19 Ernest Kiiza (Bunyoro Affairs)
