Abila a’Lango – Dr Richard Nam who has been the Prime Minister Lango Cultural Foundation [Tekwaro Lango] for more than 10 years has been relieved of his duties.
Mr Nam – a close ally and a ‘personal doctor’ to the aged Lango Paramount Chief – His Highness Yosam Odur Ebii was told, in a letter dated 22 February 2020 to hand over office to his successor – Eng James Robert Ajal.
“I have terminated your service as the Prime Minister of Tekwaro Lango (Lango Cultural Foundation) with immediate effect,” His Highness Yosam Odur’s letter to Dr Richard Nam reads.
“I have taken this decision in good faith to enable you get ample time to sort-out your clan (Okii me Amat) issues that some of your clan members have taken you to court for in the High Court of Lira,” the letter continues.

In the same letter, His Highness Mzee Yosam Odur Ebii thanked the outgoing Premier for the service he rendered to Tekwaro Lango (Lango Cultural Foundation).
On 17th January 2020, Lira High Court started hearing a case against Dr Richard Nam in which his clan members accused him of many wrongs.
Some of the Okii-amat clan members say, through the Court they will impeach their leader – Dr Nam.
