Dokolo – A new pressure group has in recent months been formed to expose and talk about President Museveni’s achievements.
Generation Seven [G7], is scheduled to be launched in Lango sub-region, with Dokolo district the first on the list. No report why Dokolo was considered first, among nine districts in the sub-region has never been revealed.
G7 aims at exposing and celebrating the greater achievements of President Yoweri Museveni, Uganda’s President since 1986 – and whose rule is predicted to last for at least 5 decades.
Generation Seven that started from Kampala, and extended to other districts has seven national delegates per district. It is being headed by Sam Alinga from Tororo district.
TND News has reliably established that the pressure group is set to launched in the district on Monday of 30 12 2019 and officially, members to preach about NRM’s positives will also be introduced to the security leaders.
Speaking to the press on Saturday at Carolina Inn in Dokolo town council, Walter Abongo, the northern region coordinator says: “We will launch our work on Monday [tomorrow].”
Mr. Abongo said their target is to expose to the locals “over seven greater achievements [pledges] done to zero by Museveni and is being seen.”
According to Abongo, the seven greater achievements include; security, education for all, health, democracy, infrastructure, industrialization and wealth creation, among others.
He added: “This group will work tirelessly to fight corruption and investigate cases of embezzlement among civil servants.”
