Toroma County Member of Parliament has brought excitements among parent and relatives of a girl who went missing for months.
Mr Joseph Andrew Koluo, the popular Member of Parliament for Toroma County in Katakwi district, like girl’s parent, was equally having sleepless nights.
Finally, he has relieved himself following a successful recovery of a young female Itesot girl aged 12.
This young girl, (name withheld) got lost in Naguru Go-down, a Kampala suburb in March this year and soon a case was registered at Jinja Road Police Station Vide S/D REF 16/25/03/19
“With his philanthropic heart, Hon Koluo embarked on search and rescue mission together with all relevant authorities and mission proved possible,” his supporter tells TND News Saturday.
Speaking yesterday (Friday) 5th July 2019, shortly after the recovery of the girl, MP Koluo urged all parents and guardians to always and at all times love, care and provide basic necessities to their children and above all, counsel them.

He further stressed that parents must be slow in surrendering their children to friends and relatives who stay in Cities and urban areas, urging that “Some children end up being grossly mistreated as well as having their fundamental rights emphatically violated as a result of both forced and child labor”.
The legislator further tipped all parents in the country to take maximum care, custody, safety and security of their young and vulnerable Children.
The young girl, still under care of MP Koluo, is expected to re-unite with her family early next week.
