Indian ‘investor’ dies under ‘unclear circumstance’

Police in Nwoya district on Tuesday cordoned off Palwak Clinic found in Otwee Town Council after an Indian ‘investor’ who was rushed there died shortly after being admitted.

Garjant Singh who was working with Jarmp Farm in Nwoya district was rushed to the above clinic at 6:00 pm from where he died.

Basing on the medical form, containing test results got from the clinic, it shows that the deceased was suffering from malaria.

The Chairperson of the Amuru Town Council Drug Sellers Association who is also the LC3 boss of Amuru Town Council confirmed the incident.

He added the body was to be transported to Mulago National Hospital for postmortem, advising the clinic owners to always make referrals in case they may not be able to handle patients in critical state.
