Acholi province summons 23 players ahead of Lango tie

GULU- The Acholi province technical team has summoned a total of twenty three players to training camp ahead of the FUFA Drum date against Lango regional side slated for 2 June 2018 at Pece stadium in Gulu town.

Among the top names summoned are, KCCA FC captain Denis Okot Oola, Paidha Black Angles goal keeper Stephen Odong Latek, Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) midfielder Derrick Ocen and Jinja Municipal council Hippos striker, Deogratius Ojok.

Acholi province team head coach Geoffrey Akena says the players are residing at Sunset hotel in Gulu town, adding that training commences at Pece stadium every evening.

FUFA drum has widely been welcomed

Acholi province team is currently on top of the table in group B with seven points from two wins and a draw.

They are followed by Kigezi with six points while Lango and Buganda are locked on four points respectively and sitting on third and fourth places respectively.
