World Bank has halted its future public funding to Uganda over anti-gay law.
Currently, the World Bank has a portfolio of US$5.2b in Uganda which will not be affected by the recent decision.
World Bank has communicated its decision to stop further funding to Uganda over the enactment of the Ant-gay Law.
The new Anti-gay Law, according to President Museveni will deal with promoters of homosexuality and will not deny medical services to the homosexuals as it is being said.
We wonder if Abp Welby has written to encourage the Anglican Bishop of Cyprus and the Gulf to publicly advocate for decriminalizing homosexuality in the Arabian Peninsula and the Middle East?
