While campaigning to carry the NRM flag to become the Oyam district woman MP, Jane Frances Acilo promised “a new Oyam” – where development, mindset change, and poverty are dealt with hands-on.
With less than a month holding the flag, Jane continues to fulfil her promises to the people of Oyam while demonstrating why she’s more than qualified to represent them in the 12th Parliament.
Through the Jane Acilo Foundation and Leadership Conference whose launch is slated for August 4, the population of Oyam will receive more than leadership knowledge and a mindset change from one of the great speakers, Dr. David Mulopa.

Dr. David Mulopa, who arrived in the country from South Africa last week, will be a key guest at the launch.

At the same event, Jane will offer her “Thank You” to the people of Oyam for turning up in big numbers to vote for her in the NRM primary election held on July 17.
From Tuesday to Wednesday, free medical camps will take place at Loro Town Council and Oyam Boma Grounds from 8 am to 5 pm.
“Your Health, Your Future, Get Screened, Get Treated,” the Foundation says. The following will be offered: dental and eye checks, cancer screening, HIV testing; antenatal care, blood sugar testing, and BMI assessment.
