Agikdak LC3 race: Journalist Ronald Alele Ongwech vows to transform sub-county

Amolatar | Seasoned journalist and dynamic community leader Ronald Alele Ongwech has officially declared his bid for the LC3 chairperson seat of Agikdak sub-county, Amolatar district.

Alele is vying for the seat under the National Resistance Movement (NRM) ticket. The journalist turned-politician, said he is a pragmatic and visionary leader and set to compete for the party’s flag.

He’s promising to champion grassroots development, youth empowerment, and effective service delivery if elected.

Alele sees a competitive race ahead and will be tussling it out with other NRM aspirants in the upcoming party primaries, where the delegates will choose the official flag bearer for the sub-county.

Known for his strong mobilization skills and grassroots connections, Alele is confident that his track record in advocacy and development will earn him the party’s endorsement.

“I am a loyal NRM cadre, and I believe in the party’s vision for transformation. My mission is to bring that vision to Agikdak by ensuring that government programs reach the people effectively,” Alele said during his campaign launch.

Alele is also promising a development-focused agenda built on key pillars, including enhanced service delivery by strengthening healthcare, education, and road infrastructure through active lobbying at the district and national levels.

On youth and women empowerment, he intends to introduce skills development programs and support small-scale enterprises to boost local livelihoods.

Transparent leadership is another area of his interest by using his journalism background to promote accountability and community participation in governance.

Still in his youthful age, Alele has become a rallying point for young people in Agikdak, and there they see him as a fresh, energetic leader capable of bridging the gap between government programs and local needs.

“Alele understands our struggles, unemployment, poor roads, and limited opportunities. He is the leader we need to push for change,” said a local youth activist.

As the NRM primaries approach, Alele’s supporters are calling on party leaders to back a candidate with a clear vision for Agikdak’s progress. His blend of media experience, grassroots engagement, and NRM loyalty supporters say make him a strong contender in the race.

“This is not just about politics; it’s about service. I am ready to work with all stakeholders to bring development to our people,” Alele emphasized.
