Lira | On October 2, 2024, the club management of Blacks Power FC, a Lira-based Big League Club, convened a meeting with social media influencers, sports reporters; radio presenters and bloggers to gain visibility.
Another issue at hand was bridging and strengthening the relationship between the Football Club and the media in the Lango sub-region and beyond.
At 11:00 a.m., the engagement began at Sankofa Cafe in the heart of Lira City, and was chaired by Sabasaba Shaban Edison, Chief Executive Officer of the Club.
Blacks Power has expressed a competent desire to rebrand its relationship with the media, and accepted full responsibility for ensuring equitable information flow across all media sectors in the region.
Ogwang Abel, the newly appointed Club PRO, has pledged to form a long-term coalition with the media in order to achieve the club’s and fans’ larger goals.
The major goals and objectives of the season have been disclosed by the club to the media, in keeping with the belief that knowledge is power.
As part of the key seasonal goals, the club has agreed to collaborate with the newly elected fan representatives, who were represented by their PRO, Mugisha Ramathan Tabu, treasurer, Odongo Innocent, and transport coordinator, Jimmy Okae.
