Apac | Police in Apac district are seriously looking for a lady only identified as Polly. She is alleged to have murdered her boyfriend Ajut Moses, 34.

The crime was reported to the Police by the deceased’s uncle, Ebuu Ray, 59, a prison warder attached to Atopi government prison.

It’s alleged that Ojut Moses, a resident of Acok “B” village, Barodilo parish, Teboke sub-county in Apac district was staying with his uncle, Ebuu.

Police discovered that the deceased had a girlfriend, Polly.

On February 1, 2024, at about 4 pm Ebuu left his nephew at home and went to get his money from their savings group.

On his way home, he was told by the neighbours that his nephew was fighting with his girlfriend.

When the now-deceased uncle reached home, he found the body of his nephew lying dead in front of the door. “He immediately reported the matter to Apac Police station,” North Kyoga Region Police PRO, SP Jimmy Okema said.

The case of suspected murder was registered under Apac CRB 97/2024, added Okema.

“The scene was visited by the OC Station Apac and the team of detectives from homicide and SOCO, the scene was well documented and preserved.

“The alleged suspect, Polly, is on the run.

“This is a very unfortunate incident again, we urged members of the public to always respond to any scenes within the neighbourhood to avoid a situation of that nature.

“Again, we appeal to anyone who knows where Polly could be to inform the Police for arrest to support the investigation,” the Regional PRO Okema asked.
