Uganda Baati receives top award for quality building products

The Uganda Baati top official say they will continue providing superior quality roofing and building solutions to their consumers in Uganda and beyond.

Lira – October 15, 2022: A member of SAFAL Group, Uganda Baati Limited has won the People’s Choice Quality Award for 2022 for providing the best quality iron sheets to the consumers.

The award was received by George Arodi, the Baati’s head of business who said their commitment is to offer quality building materials to their customers.

The annual people’s choice awards are aimed at getting consumers’ perceptions and insights on products they perceive as quality for their consumption. This survey is done in partnership with key stakeholders like the Uganda National Bureau of Standards [UNBS].

Arodi added that the company has over the years worked on unrivalled quality products and that they take pride as a market leader in innovation within the sector.

“We strive to be the best and that is the reason we were voted the Best Roofing and Steel Company in Uganda by the Consumer Choice Awards 2020-21 and we are now the People’s Choice Quality Awards winner 2022,” he said at the gala.

According to him, they will continue providing superior quality roofing and building solutions to their consumers in Uganda and beyond.

Last week, Uganda Baati opened another medical clinic in Tororo, Eastern Uganda. The medical facility is one of the many they have opened in some parts of the country.

Uganda Baati Medical Clinic is a community not-for-profit clinic started in June 2006.

Talking about the importance of public and private partnerships to advance healthcare in our country one step further, Dr Steven Obbo who represented the Minister of Health Dr Jane Ruth Aceng in Tororo, noted that: “Private sector players play a critical role in responding to the health care challenges.”
