This is a developing story (What we know so far): July 9, 2022: According to multiple sources, the Acting Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of Bukwo district was murdered.
Robert Charles Ogwang was reportedly shot dead on Saturday, July 9, at 1:00 am around Bombo.
He was on his way to Lira City from an official event in Kampala.
The assassins later set his official car on fire. All of them are at large.
The deceased died shortly after he was taken to Bombo military hospital.
They (killers) were more than two, this newspaper has exclusively learnt.
The deceased was the first acting CAO of Oyam in 2006 when the district started after it was approved by Parliament.
Police visited the crime scene and were yet to issue a statement.
