LCC FC included in the preliminary round of Stanbic Uganda Cup

Lira—27, November 2021: Lira City Council Football Club (LCC FC) was launched officially on 20, November (last week on Saturday).

The LeeAger stars later in the day had a friendly match with Gulu City Council Football Club (GCC FC) at Akii Bua stadium in Lira City.

The Lira City based club is aiming higher, yet starting with a small step. Speaking in October this year, Erick Okek, the LCC FC president said their aim is to play in the Stanbic Uganda Cup.

Starting from the 5th Division, LCC FC dreams to play in the bigger tournament, and their dream isn’t fading.

TND News understands that clubs in 4th and 5th division and non-league clubs (schools, corporate, veterans) which want to play Stanbic Bank Cup were required to notify the regional office not later than Friday 26, November 2021 to have their licenses worked on.
