Kampala – 21, October 2021: Deus Lubega has been appointed the brand ambassador of Lira City Council Football Club (LCC FC).
The Wednesday’s decision followed a two day high profile meetings between Lubega, LCC FC and COLADA Company LTD’s executive committee in Kampala.
Deus Lubega is a renowned businessman at Kikuubo, Kampala City center’s business hub.
As a sign of committment, the ambassador paid UGX500,000.00 in cash as part payment for 20 shares which qualifies him for “Gold membership”.
He also paid UGX50,000.00 cash for COLADA Company LTD membership registration fee.
In his congratulatory remarks, the LCC FC president, Erick Okek stated that Deus’ appointment signifies that LCC FC is increasingly becoming a national football club.
He calls Deus’ acceptance “a great opportunity for the football club to entrench Buganda region”.
Lubega is a sports enthusiast who promised to rally financial support from his friends overseas as a way of supporting the young football club.
He further agreed to selling LCC FC jerseys in one of his shops in Kikuubo.
On Sunday, TND News became LCC FC official digital media partner until June 2023 in a deal worth nore than shs80m between both parties.
