Onebe, home guard charged with murder
Kampala – 21, September 2021: Francis Onebe together with his home guard a one Bony have been charged.
The pair allegedly murdered Mrs. Immaculate Asio Onebe early this year.
According to Charles Twine, the CID spokeperson, Onebe and his guard haven been charged of murder contrary to section 188 &189 of the Penal Code Act.
“The two will appear today 21st Sept 2021 at Makindye Court at 10:00am,” Twine adds.
Asio went missing in January in what many, including family members thought was a kidnap. She was the executive director, Pentagon Security Services Ltd.
That month, and beyond, Onebe who is now a prime suspect accused security of kidnapping her.
Last week, Asio’s body was retrieved from a septic tank in their home in Munyonyo, Kampala.
Days later, a police DNA report indicated the body retrieved was Asio’s.
