NRM decides: Minister Anite’s hilarious statement before election

Sources say Ministers for General Duties, Mary Karooro Okurut, Elioda Tumwesigye, Science, Innovation and Technology, among others have been defeated.

Koboko—3, September 2020: State Minister of Finance for Investment and Privatisation, Hon. Evelyn Anite Kajik who’s also the Koboko Municipality MP has been kicked out during the Friday NRM party primary elections.

Both Anite and Dr Ayume Charles were battling to hold the party flag in the next year’s general elections.

Known for vehemently supporting NRM and some of the regime’s decisions against opposition parties, like we have “the army”, and advocating for Museveni’s continuity as a national leader, some expected that Anite was untouchable.

But like they say in every race there is a beginning and an end, Anite seems to have reached her end.

According to preliminary electoral reports from Zombo, as reported by one of the established digital newspaper, West Nile Web, it reads: “FINAL RESULTS, KOBOKO MUNICIPALITY, Charles Ayume 8089, Evelyn Anite 7321.”

But before people went to cast their votes, Hon. Anite, using her official Facebook page, allegedly wrote, hilariously:
