Breaking: Parliament bus catches fire with Covid-19 patients

Kitgum – 17, September 2020: A bus belonging to the Parliament of Uganda has caught fire in northern Uganda on Thursday afternoon.

The bus, whose registration number UG 0391 H, was transporting 25 Covid-19 patients from Kitgum district to Kampala.

According to Pat Larubi, a senior journalist based in Gulu town, the accident took place at Koro.

By press time, Police Fire Brigade from Aswa Regional Police Headquarters had arrived at the scene to cool the fire.
