Kampala—5, August 2020: Death has robbed music industry in northern Uganda of Benard Ogwang, popularly known as Benni Man Mzee B.
The 2Stars entertainment icon according to reports passed on at around 4:30am on Wednesday from Uganda Cancer Institute—Mulago.
He has been struggling for a long time with what close sources say was cancer.
By the time of his death, Mzee B had close to 700 songs in his name. These songs talk about politics, religion and social life, among others.
His immediate release has been “Atema tema” loosely translated as “a trial”.
The deceased has mentored, inspired and trained many of his peers into being musical stars across the entire northern Uganda.
