Zombo—22, July 2020: “Disability is not inability”—Northern Uganda State Minister, Honourable Grace Freedom Kwiyucwiny, continues to support her voters and the vulnerable persons in Zombo district.
“I admire the strength, courage and confidence of persons with disabilities. Their ability to care for family, own property and ensure food security is admirable,” the Minister who’s also the Zombo district Woman MP says.
She added: “I can and will continue to support them through the Grace Freedom Foundation (GFF) with wheel chairs to aid their mobility and support their initiatives.”
According to the Woman MP, her support to the community, and the growth and improvement of livelihoods through that support gives her satisfaction.
“All who are able, let us join hands and support our brothers and sisters. May the Lord bless them and the community in Zombo,” she added.
She has empowered agriculture [tea subsector], donated chairs, tents, saucepans to be used for functions in Zombo.
She has further given tuku-tuku [tricycles], a solar plant, and her role in Alur Kingdom has been appreciated widely.
So many students are being supported by her too.
