Archbishop of York hosts Ambassadors Moto, Mugerwa

London The 97th Archbishop of York in the United Kingdom last week hosted Uganda’s diplomats based in London.

Dr. John Sentamu and his wife Margaret Sentamu discussed bilateral issues with Ambassador Julius Peter Moto, the High Commissioner of Uganda in London and Dublin. Alongside His Excellency Moto was his Deputy High Commissioner, Ambassador John Leonard Mugerwa.

The meeting took place on the 22nd January, 2020 after the two diplomats seeing off President Museveni depart for Uganda.

The President was in London for UK Africa Investment Summit – alongside other African and business leaders.

“Bishop Sentamu and his wife Margaret are retiring on 7th June 2020, but shall serve as a Lord for life in the House of Lords,” Ambassador Moto tells TND News.

Mr Moto confirmed to TND News that Bishop Sentamu and Margaret Sentamu discussed with them bilateral issues between Uganda and the United Kingdom.
