2018 UCE results to be released on Thursday

The permanent secretary in the ministry of education and sports has announced that the Uganda Certificate of Education [UCE] results shall be released this week.

TND News saw a letter dated Jan 29th signed by Mr Aggrey Kibenge on behalf of Mr Alex Kakooza, the permanent secretary Ministry of Education and Sports, informing all the different educational sector heads that the results will be released on Thursday 31st 2019 at UBOS Conference Hall at 14:30hours.

Kakooza adds: “The purpose of this memo is to invite you to witness this function”.

In 2018, a total of 99,672 students sat for the Uganda Advanced Certificate Examinations between November and December.

Out of the 99,672 students, 41,313 were females while 53,359 were males from 2,217 examination centers across the country.

It’s also worth to note that the 2018 UCE finals registered few candidates who sat for the examination by a difference of 2,335 students.

In 2017 finals, 102,007 candidates registered and sat.
