APAC- Lack of transparency and accountability has landed a 28 year old resident of Te-got village in Ibuje Sub-county, Apac district in trouble.
Felix Ewor is accused by wife Brenda Ewor of failing to explain circumstances under which the money got from selling locally brewed waragi disappeared.
Ewor was stabbed from the back using a machete and is now nursing his wounds at Ibuje Health Centre III.
His wife says Ewor sold 20 liter jerrican of local waragi (mogo-amoga) from Alworoceng trading centre at shs65, 000 and conversely ‘drunk’ it all with his friends.
She further says his husband returned home drunk and could not explain further where he took the business money.
The area LC1 of Te-got village Richard Atworo confirmed the incident, terming it a planned revenge.
“It might be a planned revenge. Last month, Ewor beat up his wife seriously in a domestic brawl,” the LC1 Chairperson said.
