Unknown gunmen kills three in Arua

ARUA– Police in Arua Town are investigating  how three people were shot dead.
The trio were reportedly shot dead on Thursday night by assailants in their  two separate murder incidences.

According to police report, Thomas Adiga a cashier at Baddies Bar was shot dead at around 3:00 am on 18. 05. 2018 and unspecified amount of money stolen from him.

Police further said Rashid Anguzu and one unidentified person were also shot dead by unknown gunmen around Muni Primary school, Muni Parish, Oluko Sub-county in Arua district.

West Nile Regional Police Spokesperson SP Josephine Angucia says over fifteen cartridges of bullets including  were recovered.

The Police spokesperson further adds that: “No suspect(s) has been arrested in connection to the two murder incidences that occurred last night.”

“Investigations have been launched to vide CRB: 1563/2018 and CRB: 1566/2018 respectively, SP Angucia added,” Angucia added.
