Youth suspected of involvement in the brutal killing of former SC Villa captain David Owori have been remanded to Luzira Prison after appearing before the Chief Magistrate’s Court in Makindye.

The suspects, reportedly linked to the Kifeesi gangs, were presented before court as investigations into the death of the Ugandan footballer continue.

Owori’s death shocked Uganda’s football community, with friends, former teammates and supporters mourning the loss of a player who had made his mark in the local game.
