Lira | The Resident City Commissioner (RCC) of Lira Egole Lawrence has commended the Office of the National Chairman (ONC) team for Lango for their outstanding work in ensuring good service delivery of government projects in the entire Lango.
The RCC said the ONC team is dedicated and committed during the swearing-in ceremony of the NRM’s newly elected party structural leadership on Saturday June 14, 2025.
“I want to commend the ONC team for the good work they have done in ensuring that government projects are delivered efficiently and effectively in our region,” RCC said.
He added: “Their efforts have not gone unnoticed, and we are grateful for their service.”
The RCC also urged the National Resistance Movement to collaborate closely with the ONC team led by its regional coordinator Ms. Langol Prossy to further enhance service delivery and development in Lango sub-region.
“We urge the NRM to work with the ONC to ensure that our region continues to thrive and grow. Ms. Langol prossy and her team have shown great dedication, and we believe that together, we can achieve even more, Lawrence added.”
Ms. Langol prossy has been very instrumental in driving the team’s effort, her leadership and vision have been widely felt and recognized by the sub-region.

The RCC’s call for collaboration between the NRM and ONC is seen as a positive step towards enhancing development in Lango.
By working together, the two entities can leverage their strengths and resources to achieve common goals.
“We are committed to working with all stakeholders to ensure that Lango remains a prosperous place for all its residents. We look forward to a fruitful partnership with the NRM and ONC,” Egole Lawrence concluded.
