Mukono I A two-day quarterly review meeting of the National Oilseeds Project (NOSP)’s progress, challenges, and next steps concluded on Friday at Rider Hotel in Seeta, Mukono.
The meeting, organized by the Ministry of Local Government and the NOSP Secretariat, was attended by technical officers from the project’s beneficiary districts.
The Ministry zoned these districts into six hubs, each led by one of its engineers.
During the meeting, district officials, including Community Development Officers, Procurement Officers, District Engineers, and Natural Resources Officers, among others, reviewed the procurement progress for Batch “A” of Community Access Roads (CARs), as well as an overview of Batch “B” roads and other project-related topics.

The project is being implemented with funding (loans) from IFAD and OFID, as well as significant contributions from the Ugandan government.
