Important Dokolo district PLE statistics for 2024

PLE

Dokolo |This year’s Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) are quickly approaching, and 3,394 candidates are preparing to take on this important milestone.

This number includes 1,782 male and 1,612 female candidates, all eager to pass highly.

Denis Livingstone Okello, the district inspector of schools, recently had a conversation with the publication.

As he sat in his office, he shared information about the 2024 PLE exams in Dokolo.

He stated that 2,774 of the 3,394 registered pupils come from government-aided schools, demonstrating the government’s commitment to providing education for all.

Private schools in the district have also played an important role, with 620 students registered for the exams.

This emphasizes the importance of both the public and private sectors in providing high-quality education to Dokolo learners.

Inspector Okello also stressed the importance of parental involvement in their children’s education.

He urged parents to ensure that their children are always present at school in order to combat absenteeism and improve academic performance.

After all, a child’s education is a collaborative effort between schools and parents, and regular attendance is critical to success, he said.

The Uganda National Examination Board has scheduled the PLE exams for November 6 and 7, this year.

With a total of 798,763 candidates sitting for the exams across the country, Dokolo district is undoubtedly contributing to the national effort.

As the exam date approaches, it is critical for candidates to continue their studies and stay focused on their goals, as these exams are more than just a test of academic knowledge; they also represent the district’s potential and determination to succeed.

Parents should also provide their children with the support and encouragement they need to succeed in their exams.
