Lira, June 30 2022: Security team in Lira city said they arrested 15 notorious drug dealers on Wednesday 29, June 2022 in the night.
According to the Lira Resident City Commissioner (RCC) Egole Lawrence, it was an intelligence-led operations in the areas of starch factory, Kirombe and Kakoge.
Of the 15, two were 2 ladies, Egole added.
Lira is fast-growing after getting a city status. Security-wise, residents and traders continue to count losses in case of attacks by criminals at night.
