TND News, northern Uganda’s contemporary online newspaper and African Press Organization [APO Group] has signed a long term media deal.
The deal will see the two media industries reach every part of the world with distribution of quality new articles of local, national, regional and international subjects.
On the deal, Milton Emmy Akwam – TND News Founder and Chief Executive Officer, says the partnership will help northern Uganda, and Africa to grow strategically through in-depth news on trade, banking, infrastructure, oil and gas, technology and politics, among others.
He added: “Our association with APO Group came after their research found that we were a preferred online newspaper, focused, and committed to rebuilding northern Uganda by engaging the public, Civil Society Groups, government and promoting media undertaking – through building their capacities.”
“First and foremost, APO Group’s decision to choose us among many credible online news websites in Uganda is timely. On behalf of the entire management and staff of Great Lakes Centre for Strategic Media Studies and TND News, we are privileged of the choice,” Milton said Wednesday.
“With this partnership, our editorial policy and decision on what we must publish will not change. We remain committed and true to our slogan ‘Accurate. Timely. Balanced’,” he added.
Mircea Spoiola, APO Group’s Partnership Manager applauded TND News and GLCSMS Ltd’s management for accepting to partner with them.
Africa Press Organization owns and manages Africa Wire and Mena Wire, the press release distribution services dedicated to Africa and Middle East.
APO has her headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland with many media partners in African countries.
