Ugandan TikToker Benita Nakabugo, popularly known online as Benitah Madam Violence, has returned to Uganda after a difficult period in Bahrain where she lost her barista job following controversy surrounding her social media activities.

Benita’s return has attracted attention among Ugandans because of the events that unfolded while she was living and working abroad, especially her outspoken views on political matters involving National Unity Platform (NUP) leader Bobi Wine.

According to reports, Benita faced criticism and online attacks after making comments about Bobi Wine and NUP, with claims that the situation later affected her employment in Bahrain.

Sources indicate that the company where she worked as a barista became concerned after online discussions allegedly affected its image, eventually leading to her losing the job.

The TikToker had reportedly been reluctant to return to Uganda, fearing uncertainty about her future after leaving her source of income in Bahrain.

However, reports suggest that she later changed her decision after receiving assurances from NRM official Kisakyamukama, who reportedly travelled to Bahrain to engage with her.

Sources claim that Kisakyamukama encouraged Benita to return home and assured her that she would receive support upon arrival.

According to the reports, she was promised an opportunity to meet President Yoweri Museveni, also known as the Fountain of Honour, and receive assistance as she rebuilds her life in Uganda.

After considering the available options, Benita is said to have resigned from her barista position and returned to Kampala.

Reports indicate that she is currently staying at a hotel in Kampala as she awaits further arrangements and a possible meeting with government officials.

Benitah is also said to have shared details of her previous employment in Bahrain, including claims that she was earning about shs3 million per month as a barista.

Her story has continued to generate discussion online, with many Ugandans debating issues surrounding political expression, social media influence and the experiences of citizens working abroad.

The TikToker gained popularity through her outspoken online personality and strong opinions on national issues, attracting both supporters and critics.
