The RDC of Amolatar Okello Odoko Rwotlonyo Francis has urged the residents of Amolatar to join him in the Muhoozi Birthday Run on Sunday, April 26, 2026.
Rwotlonyo Francis emphasised that the birthday run is being held nationwide in honour of General Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s 52nd birthday.
Addressing the people of Amolatar, the RDC spoke of the significance of the run as a symbol of hope and unity.
“As Amolatar, we are proud to join our fellow countrymen and women across Uganda in this celebratory run,” he said.
“It is an opportunity for us to come together, promote health, and celebrate the life of General Muhoozi.”
The run was expected to take place at the Amolatar Boma grounds, starting promptly at 6:30 am and was set to conclude by 10:00 am.
Participants were encouraged to arrive early to register and prepare for the event.
In addition to the run, RDC Okello announced that a series of engaging activities had been planned to make the day memorable.
These include a tree planting initiative aimed at environmental conservation, friendly football matches to foster community spirit, and traditional bull roasting celebrations — reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the region.
General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the son of President Yoweri Museveni, is celebrated not only for his military leadership but also for his dedication to youth empowerment and national development.
His 52nd birthday provides an opportunity for Ugandans to unite in celebration and reaffirm their commitment to progress.
RDC Okello Odoko finalised his message with a heartfelt invitation: “I urge everyone in Amolatar — young and old — to come out in large numbers, participate enthusiastically, and make this event a great success.
“Let us run for hope, for unity, and for the future of our beloved nation.”
