Lira I The removal of Benson Dilla Oyuku as speaker of Lango Cultural Foundation has been retracted.
Dilla was among those removed from the cabinet mid-this month (September) by Mzee Yosam Odur Ebii, the Won Nyaci of Lango.
Jacob Ocen, the information minister (spokesperson) says there was “an oversight” in Dilla’s removal.
In a letter dated September 21, 2023, Won Nyaci Odur wrote that the promotion of Rt. Hon. Jimmy Anthony Oyuku as the new speaker was “an oversight” – revoking it effective immediately.
