Oyam – July 2, 2022: Death has robbed Uganda and Lango of Dr. Moses Ebuk. According to a close family member, a son of Aber [sub-county] in Oyam district died on Saturday morning at around 5 am.
The former diplomat passed on at Mulago National Referral Hospital where he was admitted for weeks.
Dr. Moses Ebuk was a Ugandan neurophysiologist, academic, and diplomat. Ebuk, a neurophysiologist, was also a lecturer in the College of Health Sciences at the Makerere University in Mulago.
In 2005, Ebuk was appointed as Ambassador of Uganda to the Democratic Republic of the Congo. His appointment came after President Yoweri Museveni’s first appointment, Jacob Okello, had his appointment rejected by the Democratic Republic of Congo government in Kinshasa.
On 11 September 2008, Ebuk was appointed by President Museveni as Ambassador of Uganda to Russia. At that time, he presented his diplomatic credentials to President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev on 27 February 2009.

He will be laid to rest next week [on Saturday] July 9, 2022, in Awelomakweri [corner Atapara], Aber sub-county in Oyam district.
