Annual Performance Review: Alebtong, Agago, among 10 worst districts

Lira—7, September 2021: Alebtong district in Lango sub-region has been recognized alongside nine other districts for the worst performances in the last financial years 2020/2021.

The Lango’s east district was followed by Bugweri, Madi-Okollo, Karenga, Abim, Kaabong, Nakaseke, Pakwach, Obongi and Agago.

Mpigi, Ibanda, Kabarole, Isingiro, Rubanda, Rubirizi, Mbarara and Masindi municipal council are best performers.

Other are Ngora district and Bushenyi-Ishaka municipal council.

While addressing ministers, permanent secretaries and technical officers Tuesday in Kampala, Prime Minister Robina Nabbanja reechoed president Museveni’s directive on cohesion, a Uganda free of corruption, patriotism, regional integration, among others.
