
Gulu—16, June 2020: Five new Covid-19 patients were yesterday [Monday] admitted at Gulu Regional Referral Hospital’s case management centre.
The total number of cases being managed at the centre has since risen to 30—Gulu based Journalist, Willy Chowoo, reports.
“These were three truck drivers from Elegu and two contacts from Adjumani district,” he added.
Over the weekend, the hospital discharged 23 patients bringing the total number of patients recovered from the hospital to 66 out of 96 patients admitted representing recovery percentage at 68.8 percent.
There are 299 people who have recovered out of 705 confirmed cases in Uganda, with 406 still in admission in different hospitals and isolation centres in the country.
The country has cumulative sample tests of 148,442 people.
